My wife and I have four daughters who all graduated from the Katy Independent School District (KISD). I have been a part of three successful bond issues and have held several KISD volunteer positions. I coached and led Katy Youth Basketball for nine years and am a founder of Katy Basketball Association, which has sponsored five girls Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) teams. I coached four AAU teams, and winning age group Nationals Championship in 2006. I really enjoyed 7 years helping my daughters Kate and Jenna as a sponsor for their FFA projects and many years as a buyer at the KISD FFA Livestock Auction.
